There are some people among us who are really lucky as far as having a clear and glowing complexion is concerned but the rest of us folks we need to make an effort to get this. One of the most difficult things that we deal with is the issue of pimples or acne, which could affect adults as well as teens. A face full of marks is likely to leave you feeling down.

Clean your face everyday: It is not even essential to use special formulations to do this, a good washing liquid will do. In fact ensure that your hair and skin are always clean. Though you need to wash regularly once a day, do not overdo it.

Though to get it right may take some time. You need to press down with both thumbs and index fingers for it to slide out. But do take care not to be rough on the skin.

Remove whiteheads: It is the common variety of pimples on the surface of the skin. You can remove these using a technique similar to the one described above. Again do not try anything rough and damage your skin.

Try not to make things worse: It is very possible that you may go overboard when it comes to the care of pimples. But some pimples may be too deeply rooted and trying to uproot them could cause scars.

Try not to touch your face:  What this means is that when not necessary do not put your  hands to your face. This is important because often  the oils, dirt and germs from your hand will transfer to the face.  By avoiding this you will ensure that your face is not affected by additional sources of oil and dust.

Keep blotting oil away from the face: For people who have really oily skin, it is likely that your skin may become really oily. To circumvent this try and blot the oil away from the face using tissue paper. Make certain that the tissue you use is the dry kind not the one with any lotion on it. As you keep blotting you will see how much oil comes away on the tissue you will realize how essential it is to do this.

Keep changing pillow covers: When you go to bed the oil from the hair and skin will soak into the pillow cover. The next day when you lay your cheek on the pillow, this oil will soak back into your skin and cause the outbreak of pimples to occur. By changing the cover of your pillow cover frequently you will be ensuring that this does not happen.

Keep away from stress: Stress is known to take a toll on your health in every way and this really shows up in the form of blemishes, pigmentation and outbreaks on your skin. While it is easy to talk about not getting stressed out, do try and make a conscious effort to relax and not let stress affect you so much.

Follow a good diet: Eating a balanced diet is very helpful as far as skin care is concerned.  Try and get as much fresh vegetables and fruits as possible. Stay away from processed foods and drinks. Drink plenty of clean water and ensure that your diet is well rounded. Though you need to be a little more alert in finding what foods suit your skin best as this may differ from one person to another.


Keep surroundings neat: Ensure that your living area is clean and this way any contaminants that will irritate your skin will also stay away. Make sure that your home and work area are kept in good order to avoid any dirt or pollutant getting to your skin.
